A++ this is the type of place you dream of before you go away, right on the beach sunsets amazing food is amazing and they even give you plates to chuck at the Greek dancer when he comes on and starts dancing the fire dance (starts at 9:00pm). Stu Campion (Saturday, October 13, 2007)
Food here is excellent. We only ate here once but that was due to us wanting to try new restaurants. After dinner entertainment is good also. they bring you plates to smash and the waiter all take part in Greek dancing. Restaurant always full. Sea Bass is lovely as they debone it for you. Caren Williams Just got back to Northumberland after another brilliant holiday staying with Nico and Augusta's at Beachside, just along the beach from Greek Island where the hospitality and entertainment were as brilliant as ever, the food is to die for, Steves staff and chefs are a credit to him. Especially our good friend the chef 'crazy Mike' we love him to bits! Thanks to you all love from Geordie Paul Customers say you are number one simply because you clearly are. A massive hello and thank you to Teli, Nikos,Peter,Babis and all the guys at the Greek Islands Restaurant, you made our holiday, your food, service and entertainment is out of this world. Hello to everyone at the wonderful Greek islands taverna. We are a big family that have been coming here for many years now and it just gets better! There were 26 of us this year aged from 1 year to 87 years and there is something here for everyone. Hullo to Steve and Eli and family. Then to the lads, Nicos, Billy, Stefan, Peter, Telly, Angelo, Haris. Babis and Dominic on the beach. Lovely Mike in the kitchen. Jamie sends his love and cant wait to come back next year. Unfortunately my Dad was taken into hospital and my sister and I had to stay on till he was able to fly home. Steve let us have one of his lovely flats alongside the taverna and duly looked after us splendidly. There is no where in the world better than this lovely island where we can spend two weeks with such wonderful friends. The restaurant has traditional plate smashing and dancing, you can't ask for anything more!! The waiters are fun and welcoming and they put on a great show. You even get to dance on the table with a gorgeous Peter which you don't want to miss. I could have spent every night in there and I didn't want to leave. Miss you guys!!! Any of you out there in Laganas have got to try this place.......you will love it.
